Serene Behavioral Center currently provides individualized in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We do not offer center-based services at this time. Applied Behavior Analysis uses principles of learning and behavior to support meaningful everyday skills for children with autism and related developmental needs. Our approach builds on each child's strengths, interests, abilities, and family routines. Communication development may include expressing needs, feelings, and choices through spoken words, gestures, or alternative communication methods. Social engagement may include play, turn-taking, and positive interaction with family members and peers. Daily living goals may support independence in dressing, hygiene, toileting, and feeding. Our team also works on emotional regulation, practical safety skills, and functional alternatives to challenging behavior. In-home sessions allow children to practice skills in familiar routines. Parents and caregivers collaborate with the treatment team, participate in training, and help carry skills into daily life. Treatment goals and service hours are individualized, with progress reviewed regularly.
